England captain Joe Root and his Australia opposite number Tim Paine have both issued unequivocal assurances that their teams have no reason for concern over the spot-fixing allegations made in an Al Jazeera documentary.

Fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will miss Australia’s one-day tour of England with a back injury.
Cricket Australia has announced that Hazlewood, who took 21 English wickets during the Ashes, has “low-level bone stress” in his back.

1:00pm – Jennings replace Stoneman as England opener
England have recalled Keaton Jennings in place of out-of-form opener Mark Stoneman for the second NatWest Test at Headingley.
The hosts announced the only change to a 12-man squad early on Monday morning, following their nine-wicket defeat against Pakistan at Lord’s.

12:20pm – MS Dhoni thanks CSK fans on Instagram, hails Shane Watson
After leading his team to their third IPL title, MS Dhoni has thanked Chennai Super Kings fans for their support throughout.
The skipper shared an Instagram post, where he posed alongside his wife and daughter, while also heaping praise on Shane Watson, who was absolutely terrific on the night of the final.

9:50am – Shane Watson and MS Dhoni react to IPL triumph
Chennai Super Kings captured their third IPL crown in comprehensive fashion on Sunday evening as they thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
Chennai skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Sunrisers Hyderabad were able to score 178-6 in their 20 overs before a match-winning innings from Shane Watson saw the Super Kings achieve victory with nine balls to spare.
