    9:30 pm – England seal 5-0 ODI series win over Australia

    Jos Buttler hit an unbeaten century as England defeated Australia by one wicket in the final ODI at Old Trafford.

    England were staring down the barrel at 114-8 before Buttler cracked a superb century to seal his team’s first ever 5-0 whitewash over Australia in any format.

    There was a lot of debate over the path ODI cricket was on after England churned out one high score after the other in the ODI series against Australia.

    2:15 pm – Sourav Ganguly ‘happy’ that Virat Kohli missed Surrey stint

    Sourav Ganguly said he was ‘happy’ that Virat Kohli didn’t play for Surrey ahead of India’s series against England. Kohli had to pull out of a deal due to a neck injury. Read more on Ganguly’s comments here. 

    1:30 pm – Australia bat first in final ODI at Manchester

    Meanwhile, the fifth and final ODI between England and Australia is about to get underway at Old Trafford in Manchester with the hosts chasing their firs-ever whitewash over their Ashes rivals. Sam Curran has been handed an England ODI debut while Australia skipper Tim Paine has won the toss and elected to bat first.

    1:00 pm – Virat Kohli and his India team-mates arrive in London

    The Indian team arrived in the UK on Saturday for their series against England. India will play a full series against England beginning with the T20 series next month, followed by the ODIs and then Test matches. Read more on that story here.

    England take on Australia in their fifth and final ODI match later today with Eoin Morgan’s side looking to complete a series whitewash.
