Former Australia captain Steve Smith has landed in Canada to play in their upcoming Global T20 League, which begins on Thursday.
The batsman will be making his first competitive appearance since the ball-tampering scandal that saw him, David Warner and Cameron Bancroft receive lengthy suspensions by Cricket Australia.
Smith will line up for Toronto Nationals in a team that will also feature Darren Sammy, Keiron Pollard and UAE internationals Rohan Mustafa and Mohammad Naveed.
Warner is also expected to play and will feature for Winnipeg Hawks.
Other stars that have arrived are Sunil Narine, Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Ben McDermott and Darren Sammy.
