    10:00 pm – Shoaib Malik scores 8,000 T20 runs

    Pakistan star all-rounder Shoaib Malik joined a select group of T20 stars as he crossed the 8,000 run mark in the Caribbean Premier League.

    During the course of his 38-run knock for the Guyana Amazon Warriors against Barbados Tridents, Malik became just the fourth batsman to score 8,000 runs in the 20-over format.

    India‘s batsmen are under pressure to deliver, but the team can’t wait forever and must have started looking beyond the current core.

    Here we take a look at the batsmen who can be brought into the playing XI over the next three Tests.

    8:00 pm – What India need to do to salvage series

    India seem down and out after their innings defeat Lord’s. Their batsmen looked  clueless against the moving ball and even their bowling was exposed in helpful conditions.

    However, all’s not lost for Kohli’s team. Here is what they need to do to turn things around.

    7:00 pm – Kohli loses No1 spot

    India captain Virat Kohli lost the No1 ranking for Test batsmen after an ordinary second Test against England in which his team lost by an innings and 159 runs.

    Kohli slipped down to second position on 919 points – 10 behind Steve Smith.

    Virat Kohli suffered from a back injury which kept him off the field twice during India’s innings defeat to England at Lord’s, but says he will be fine for the third Test, which starts at Trent Bridge on Saturday.
