Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag is known for his witty tweets and he had one more up his sleeve on day five of the fourth Test between India and England at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
With India needing just four wickets to win, the 38-year-old tweeted that he had booked flight tickets for 3 PM IST despite the scheduled end of play being 4:30 PM IST.
In the end, Sehwag was proven right as the Indian bowlers only needed 32 minutes (10:02 AM IST) to finish the match on Monday – with the final four English wickets falling for just 13 runs.
