Indian Test captain Virat Kohli took to Twitter to dismiss rumours that he is set to get engaged to girlfriend Anushka Sharma.
Kohli’s relationship with Anushka has been under the Indian media’s scanner ever seen they started dating. There were reports afloat on Thursday that the two would get engaged on New Year’s Day, but the 28-year-old wanted to put an end to the ‘confusion’.
The Delhi-born batsman also added that if Anushka and him are going to engaged, there’s no reason for either of them to hide it from the public.
Earlier this month, Kohli’s tweet where he slammed trolls for blaming the Bollywood actress for his poor performances in international cricket had been named as the ‘Golden Tweet’ for India in 2016.
