India have named their ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming three-match series against England that starts in Pune on January 15.
There were a number of surprises in the squad selection as Yuvraj Singh is recalled to the ODI team for the first time since 2013, drawing mixed reaction on Twitter.
Elsewhere, rising star Rishabh Pant has been included in the T20I squad. The 19-year-old impressed with his fine performances in youth cricket and domestic cricket in 2016.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma clarified that he is not included in the squad as he continues to recover from thigh surgery.

More batting options than I expected. Only 3 games so not much rotation possible. Some batsmen are going to get disappointed

Lots of keeper/batsmen options across the two squads - Rahul, Jadhav, Pant. MSD still first choice but he has competition!

Yuvraj Singh back in ODIs. Not really sure what's the thinking here. Middle order muddled as it is.
