India legend Sachin Tendulkar celebrates his 44th birthday on Monday, with a number of former and current cricketers taking to Twitter to wish himΒ on the occasion.

Tendulkar is considered as one of the greatest cricketers of all-time, having scored the most Test and ODI runs in the history of the game. He is also the only batsman to have notched up 100 centuries in international cricket.

Born on April 24, 1973, the Little Master made his international debut at the age of 16 against arch-rivals Pakistan. He was dismissed for a duck in that game but over the next 24 years, Tendulkar made an everlasting impact on the Gentleman’s Game.

Former South Africa fast bowler Allan Donald, whose contests against Tendulkar were always a spectacle in the 1990s, called the Mumbai-born batsman the greatest he ever played against.

India captain Virat Kohli, on the other hand, tweeted that Tendulkar will always be his cricketing hero.

Here is a collection of wishes for Tendulkar on his birthday from fellow cricketers.
