India have steered clear of Australia as the team with the most scores of 300 or more in the history of one-day internationals.
In the second ODI of their series against West Indies at Port of Spain on Sunday, the Indian team managed to put up a total of 310-5 in 43 overs in a game that was delayed at the start due to rain.
This was the Men in Blue’s 96th 300th score in ODI cricket, bettering Australia who have posted 95 300+ totals in the format.
India’s total of 310 on Sunday came about thanks to a century from Ajinkya Rahane (103 from 104 balls) and fifties from Shikhar Dhawan (63 from 59 balls) and Virat Kohli (87 from 66 balls).
