The Pakistan Cricket Board on Sunday promised to investigate the issue of missing stripes in Pakistan‘s Test sweater.
Pakistan are currently playing Ireland in Dublin in the host country’s inaugural Test. However, their official kit raised many eyebrows as the sweater was missing the tradition green stripes.
The matter was pointed out by former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram on social media, who said: “Where is the green stripe gone from our sweater? Not cool.”
Replying to his post, the Pakistan board said: “Thank you for pointing this out. We are going to seriously inquire into the matter.”
