  • On top of the world: Chris Woakes thoroughly enjoyed bowling out Virat Kohli.

After a disappointing ODI series, England beat India by three runs in their one-off Twenty20 international at Edgebaston.

It was an entertaining match that went down to the last ball as India captain MS Dhoni failed to hit a six which would have won the match.

England didn't start off their innings brightly but Eoin Morgan hit a ruthless 71 runs from 31 balls that lifted the home side to 180-7.

India looked on course to beat England after Virat Kohli hit 66 runs but excellent bowling from Chris Woakes and Harry Gurney sealed the win for England.
