  • Indian players celebrate the dismissal of Chamunorwa Chibhabha.

The tourists elected to bowl after winning the toss, for the second successive match, and dismissed Zimbabwe for just 126 in 34.3 overs following a dramatic collapse.

Zimbabwe were moving along solidly at 106 for three at the halfway stage with Vusi Sibanda contributing 53, but the hosts, unable to call on the services of Sean Williams due to injury, lost their last six wickets for just 20 runs.

Yuzvendra Chahal was the chief destroyer for India, ripping out the middle order to finish with figures of three for 25 in his second 50-over outing for his country.

Lokesh Rahul, an unbeaten centurion on debut last time out, and Karun Nair, also playing his second ODI, then put India on course for victory with an opening stand of 58.

Rahul was bowled by Chamu Chibhabha for 33 and Nair was trapped lbw by Sikandar Raza for 39, after a 67-run second-wicket stand with Ambati Rayudu, who led his side home inside 27 overs with an unbeaten 41.
