With India leading 2-1 in the five-match ODI series, it’s a do-or-die game for New Zealand at the JSCA International Stadium, Ranchi.
MS Dhoni, playing on his home ground, will be hopeful that his team can carry on their momentum from the previous ODI in which they chased down a target of 286 under lights. Virat Kohli starred yet again for the Men in Blue with an unbeaten 154, while Dhoni – who promoted himself to number four – scored a valuable 80.
New Zealand, on the other hand, will be keen put the disappointment of Mohali behind them. They will need their middle-order to fire at all costs, having failed to do so in all the ODI matches so far.
