England find themselves in a precarious situation, after being reduced to 103/5 at the end of play on day two. The visitors trail India’s first innings total by 352 runs and have a huge task on their hands on Saturday.
England’s first aim on day three will be to reach 256 and avoid the follow-on mark.
India, on the other hand, will be looking to continue from where they left off yesterday with more assistance expected from the pitch for their spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Jayant Yadav.
