    After winning the toss and electing to bat first, England’s score reads 288/5 at the end of play on day one of the fourth Test against India at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

    Opening batsman Keaton Jennings was definitely the star of the show for England – notching up a Test century on debut. He showed his full range of shots, including a reverse sweep to get to his hundred, before being dismissed for 112.

    As expected, former cricketers were full of praise for the 24-year-old on Twitter.

    While legends such as Sri Lanka’s Kumar Sangakkara and India’s VVS Laxman hailed Jennings’ efforts, iconic South African cricketer Jacques Kallis seemed partially disappointed to have lost the Johannesburg-born batsman to the England team.
