India took the honours on day one of the Test against Bangladesh thanks to centuries from Murali Vijay and captain Virat Kohli.
The hosts will be hopeful that they can kick on and set a big first innings score on Friday.
On the other hand, Bangladesh need a much improved bowling performance if they are to get back into the Test.
