With India preparing for the upcoming limited-overs series with New Zealand, a special visitor was seen at the team’s net session in Mumbai on Thursday.
With the first ODI between the two sides to be played on Sunday at the Wankhede stadium, Virat Kohli’s men were working hard at the nets where they were joined by a few youngsters from the Mumbai Under-19 team.
Among those was one Arjun Tendulkar, legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s 18-year-old son.
The Mumbai U19 boys were present to provide bowling options to the Indians and Arjun could be seen throwing down his medium pacers in the nets.
The left-armed bowler was seen bowling to the Indian batsmen in a video shared by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Twitter.
The 18-year-old had earlier bowled to the England team in the nets two years ago in 2015 at Lord’s in London.

While his father might be one of the greatest batsmen to have played the game, Arjun has taken to pace bowling as his calling.
India meanwhile are set to face the Kiwis in three ODIs followed by as many T20Is. Kane Williamson and his men have already arrived in India and have played two warm-up matches against the Board President’s XI.
India meanwhile have recalled Dinesh Karthik into the setup in the squad for the first three ODIs while struggling batsman KL Rahul has been dropped.
Shikhar Dhawan also returns after missing the Australia ODIs to be with his ailing wife. Ajinkya Rahane meanwhile has kept his place in the squad despite regular opener Dhawan’s return following his strong showing against Australia.
