The Pakistan eves had suffered a close defeat in the first ODI by eight runs before succumbing to a heavy seven-wicket loss in the second match.
On Sunday, New Zealand eves’ skipper Suzie Bates won the toss and elected to bat first at the Sharjah Cricket stadium.
The White Ferns did not get off to the best starts as they were reduced to 4-50 by the end of the 17th over. It took a fighting fifty from middle-order batter Sam Curtis to stabilize the New Zealand innings.
Pakistan however kept striking at regular intervals, never allowing the opposition to get away.
Pakistan’s biggest win in women’s cricket history to date. And today’s victory puts them level with England on the #IWC ladder with 2 pts

Off-spinner Sana Mir was the star for Pakistan ladies, picking up four wickets as New Zealand were bundled out for just 155 runs in 44 overs.
In reply to the White Ferns’ total, Pakistan openers Nahida Khan and Sidra Ameen put on a strong opening stand of 40 runs which laid the platform for their win.

Skipper Bismah Maroof played the role of an anchor after the departure of the openers as her unbeaten 36 runs off 69 deliveries saw Pakistan across the finish line.
Sana Mir hit the winning runs for her side in the penultimate over to put the icing on the cake of her match-winning bowling performance.
She was duly adjudged as the player of the match as Pakistan celebrated their first win over New Zealand.
It has been a fabulous 2017 so far for Virat Kohli, both individually and as skipper of the Indian team.
The batting maestro, who turned 29-years-old on Sunday, celebrated his birthday with his team-mates and support staff in the dressing room after India’s 40-run loss to New Zealand in the second T20I at Rajkot.
The right-hander became the fastest batsman to the 9,000-run mark in ODI cricket, taking only 194 innings to do. In the process he became only the sixth batsman from India to have breached the figure.
With his two centuries against New Zealand in the recently concluded one-day series, the Indian skipper has now overtaken Australia great Ricky Ponting to sit behind only Sachin Tendulkar in the list of the batsman with most ODI tons.
Kohli has 32 hundreds to his name, second only to Tendulkar’s remarkable 49 tons.
In 2017, the batting genius has recorded 1460 runs already at a staggering average of 76.84 and an equally astounding strike-rate of 99.11.
In addition to the above, Kohli has amassed six ODI centuries in the calendar year alone. The Delhi-born superstar’s batting average of 55.74 in the one-day format is the highest among players, both present and past.
As skipper, Kohli’s 1460 runs in the calendar year is the highest among all his present and past counterparts in the game.
The stylish batsman has also levelled MS Dhoni’s record of nine consecutive wins in ODI cricket. Under his stewardship, team India has completed bilateral series wins over England, West Indies, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand while finishing runner-up in the ICC Champions Trophy.
Kohli has led India to the top of the ICC Test rankings and ODI rankings in the calendar year while he himself has topped the individual batsmen rankings in the one-day format.
All in all, it has been a year to remember for Virat Kohli and with many years of cricket still left in him, there will be more milestones and records which shall tumble along the way as the Indian superstar continues to entertain.
Team India skipper and batting sensation Virat Kohli turned 29-years-old on Sunday and the birthday wishes could not stop flowing in from all quarters.
The right-handed batsman has had a fabulous 2017 in the limited-overs format and currently sits on top of the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen.
