Schedule for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh tri-nations T20I series revised

  • India will once again be squaring up against Sri Lanka.

    The schedule for the tri-nations T20I series involving Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh has been revised and the tournament will now be held from March 6 to 18. The tournament was earlier slated to take place from March 8 to 20.

    Named the Nidahas Trophy, the series marks the completion of 70 years of Sri Lanka’s independence and will see the

    hosts take on India in the opening match.

    The tournament follows a round-robin format where in each team will play twice each against the remaining sides with the top two teams progressing to the finals on March 18.

    All seven matches will be played at the R. Premadasa stadium in Colombo.

    March 6: Sri Lanka vs India

    March 8: Bangladesh vs India

    March 10: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh

    March 12: Sri Lanka vs India

    March 14: India vs Bangladesh

    March 16: Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh

    March 18: Finals
