    6:15pm – Shoaib Malik to retire from ODI cricket post 2019 World Cup

    Veteran Pakistan batsman Shoaib Malik has announced that he will retire from 50-over cricket following the completion of the 2019 ICC World Cup in England. The 36-year-old announced his plans during a press conference at Lahore on Monday. Malik has said that he will continue to keep playing T20I cricket till his body allows and is targeting winning the World Cup in England with Pakistan to cap off a stellar ODI career.

    5:00pm – Ireland all-rounder Simi Singh aspired to to play for India

    When India take on Ireland in the two-match T20I series, there will be a familiar face in the opposition. Ireland all-rounder Simi Singh was born in Mohali, Punjab and represented the state till the U19 level before making the move all the way to Ireland. The all-rounder make his debut for Ireland last year and shares a strong connection with two players from the Indian team.

    3:45pm – Billy Stanlake impresses in Australia’s ODI humiliation

    It might have been an unprecedented 5-0 humiliation at the hands of their old rivals for Australia, but they do have some reasons to smile after ODI series. Pacer Billy Stanlake was one of the biggest positives for the visitors in the five-match series and he impressed in our player ratings for the Australia squad. However, it wasn’t the best of series for skipper Tim Paine.

    Our player ratings for England’s 5-0 series win over Australia are in and its no surprise that Jos Buttler shines. However, it was not the best of series for England’s Test skipper Joe Root who managed to score just one half-century in the five matches.     12:00pm – PCB serve notice to Umar Akmal following spot-fixing approach claims

    Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal could be in hot water after he was served a legal notice by Pakistan Cricket Board’s Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) to appear before it before June 27. The notice comes on the heels of Akmal claiming that he was approached by spot-fixers ahead of the 2015 ICC World Cup clash against India at Adelaide. The batsman has been asked to explain his startling claims.
