Alex Hales scored an unbeaten 58 as England defeated India by five wickets and with two balls to spare in the second T20 on Friday.
India bowlers picked up three wickets by the half-way mark as England reached 72-3 after 11 overs on Friday chasing 149. However, Hales kept his cool to help score 12 from the final over and level the series.
Earlier, England pacers rattled India‘s top order in the second T20 to restrict the visitors to 148-5 at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on Friday.
England won the toss and decided to bowl first with seamer Jake Ball getting to play his first T20I. India went in with an unchanged side.
David Willey (1-18) and Liam Plunkett (1-17) were on target as the Indians struggled to get any timing. Virat Kohli top-scored for India with 47.
India have a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after their thumping eight-wicket win in the opener at Manchester on Tuesday.
Eoin Morgan‘s men, on the other hand, are looking to bounce back after their disappointing loss at Old Trafford.
