6:30pm – Rangana Herath the master of the fourth innings
Sri Lanka thumped South Africa by 199 runs in the second Test at Colombo on Monday to complete a 2-0 series win over the visitors. There were plenty of talking points from the fourth day’s play at Colombo but perhaps none bigger than Rangana Herath’s six-wicket burst to extinguish all South African hopes.

6:00pm – The end seems near for all-time pace great Dale Steyn
South Africa’s Test series against hosts Sri Lanka ended in a 0-2 defeat after the 199-run loss at Colombo on Monday. The spotlight was on Dale Steyn who went wicketless for the first time in his 88-Test career. That means the pacer remains level with Shaun Pollock as South Africa’s highest Test wicket-taker with 421 scalps to his name.

4:30pm – Joe Root’s poor form in Roses clash continues
England Test skipper Joe Root’s struggles in the ongoing Roses clash between Lancashire and Yorkshire continued on Monday with the batsman dismissed for just three runs by James Anderson.
The Englishman had been dismissed for 22 in the first innings as Jordan Clark claimed a sensational hat-trick. Read more on Root’s troubles here.
4:00pm – Sri Lanka suspend Danushka Gunathilaka from all forms of international cricket
Even as Sri Lanka were marching towards victory in the second Test against South Africa at Colombo, there was bad news for batsman Danushka Gunathilaka. The opening batsman has been suspended from all forms of international cricket pending an inquiry.

3:00pm – Mohammad Kaif has no regrets over his India career
Mohammad Kaif recently called time on all forms of cricket and the former India batsman has no regrets at all on how his international career panned out. The 37-year-old has said that he is proud to have played alongside India’s ‘golden generation’ which included the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid among others.

2:00pm – Ishant Sharma lauds India’s pace bowling depth ahead of England series
India might be struggling with injuries to key pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah but Ishant Sharma remains in confident mood ahead of the five-Test series against England.

1:00pm – Sri Lanka beat South Africa to complete 2-0 series clean sweep
Sri Lanka beat South Africa by 199 runs in the second and final Test at Colombo to complete a 2-0 series win. The hosts faced some resistance from Theunis de Bruyn who scored a maiden Test ton but Rangana Herath’s six-wicket haul completed another big win for Suranga Lakmal’s men.

11:00am – Alec Stewart believes Tests will be a different ball-game for Kuldeep Yadav
Former England skipper has given his say on India’s young left-arm arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav. The youngster was included in India’s 18-man squad for the upcoming five-Test series against England after some excellent displays in the limited-overs clashes.
