Bangladesh have posted 249-7 against Afghanistan in their Asia Cup Super Four clash at Abu Dhabi after electing to bat first. The Tigers were in an early spot of bother and in danger of collapsing before a steady partnership from Mahmudullah and Imrul Kayes stabilised the innings.

Pakistan’s innings against India in the Asia Cup Super Four clash at Dubai has drawn to a close with the men in green posting 237-7 in their 50 overs. Pakistan recovered after a poor start with Shoaib Malik and Sarfraz Ahmed repairing the damage before India pulled things back slightly in the death overs.

New Zealand’s much-feared Auckland Aces T20 team is the final squad to be confirmed for the much-anticipated inaugural Abu Dhabi T20 tournament which will be fought out at the iconic Zayed Cricket Stadium this October.

Just a few minutes remain for the hotly anticipated Super Four clash between India and Pakistan to get underway at the Dubai International Cricket stadium. It is Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed who has won the toss and his men will bat first against the arch-rivals.

The second of Sunday’s double-header in the Asia Cup sees Afghanistan take on Bangladesh at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi. It is Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza who has won the toss and elected to bat first in the Super Four encounter.

Australia opener Matt Renshaw will be hoping to put the words of wisdom he received from India batting legend Rahul Dravid into practice when his side takes on Pakistan in a two-Test series in the UAE.

Danushka Gunathilaka has run into controversy once again with the Sri Lanka batsman’s injury in the Asia Cup now under the scanner.
The Sri Lankan opener was picked in the squad for the Asia Cup but subsequently ruled out of the tournament after attending just one training session in Dubai.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ehsan Mani has said that his board will review its stance on overseas T20 leagues while seeking the same assurances from the ICC.
Speaking at the heels of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meet at Dubai on Saturday, the newly-elected PCB chief touched upon the importance of managing the workload of players when sanctioning their participation in overseas leagues.

10:00pm – Pakistan look to even scores with India
For the second time in the tournament, arch-rivals India and Pakistan will lock horns in the Asia Cup when the two teams meet in their Super Four clash at Dubai on Sunday.
It was India who took the bragging rights in the first meeting in the group stage with a comprehensive eight-wicket win at the same venue but all that will count for nothing as the two teams seek to take a big step towards securing their place in the final of the continental competition.

Bangladesh and Afghanistan meet again in Abu Dhabi for the second time in a week with the Tigers looking to gain revenge following their 136-run defeat on Thursday night.
