India openers Shikhar Dhawan (114) and Rohit Sharma (111*) were on fire as the men in blue raced to 238-1 in 39.3 overs chasing 238 in the Asia Cup against Pakistan, registering a comprehensive nine wicket win.
The openers added 210 for the first wicket in one of the most dominant performances by India against the men in green in recent memory.

Pakistan openers Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq made a watchful start and added 21 runs without any loss from the first seven overs. In the eighth over, Imam (10) was adjudged leg-before wicket on review with Yuzvendra Chahal claiming the breakthrough. Fakhar (31) was starting to find his touch but fell to Kuldeep Yadav in the 15th over of the Pakistan innings.
Disaster struck again for Pakistan in the next over with Babar Azam (9) being run-out after a mix-up with Sarfraz Ahmed. India’s bowlers were tight in the death overs as Pakistan were restricted to 237-7 in their 50 overs.
