People have been waiting for an innings like this from Sanju Samson for a long time, and on Tuesday, the Delhi Daredevils batsman finally delivered. A player known for throwing away promising starts finally made it count, scoring the first century of IPL 2017.
His knock of 102 off of 63 balls included eight 4s and five 6s, and he weathered a mid-innings wobble to make sure he helped the Daredevils to a mammoth score of 205/4, a total that led to a 97-run win over Rising Pune Supergiant.
