    TEAM NEWS, SQUADS, PREDICTED XIs

Can't wait to get back onto the field. Almost there now 💪✌️😃. 14th April ⏳

A post shared by Virat Kohli (@virat.kohli) on

RCB SQUAD: Virat Kohli (c), Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Shane Watson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel, Mandeep Singh, Adam Milne, Sarfaraz Khan, Sreenath Aravind, Kedar Jadhav, Stuart Binny, Samuel Badree, Travis Head, Sachin Baby, Iqbal Abdullah, Avesh Khan, Tabraiz Shamsi, Pawan Negi, Tymal Mills, Aniket Choudhary, Praveen Dubey, Billy Stanlake

Defeat last time out put a bit of a spanner in the works for RCB but they did welcome back AB de Villiers, who announced himself on the stage of this year’s IPL in dramatic fashion.

And if the sight of De Villiers smashing it to all parts was a welcome one, that of returning skipper Virat Kohli will be even more so.

Kohli is likely to come back into the team and bolster a batting lineup that has so far struggled at the top of the order having recovered from shoulder injury.

Chris Gayle is likely to still sit out, while Kedar Jadhav and Vishnu Vinod could make way for Kohli.

PREDICTED RCB XI: Kohli (c), Watson, De Villiers (c), Jadhav, Binny, Vinod, Negi, Abdulla, Chahal, Mills, Stanlake

    MI SQUAD:

Rohit Sharma (c), Jasprit Bumrah, Jos Buttler, Shreyas Gopal, Krishnappa Gowtham, Asela Gunaratne, Harbhajan Singh, Mitchell Johnson, Kulwant Khejroliya , Siddhesh Lad, Mitchell McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Parthiv Patel (W), Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, Deepak Punia, Nitish Rana, Ambati Rayudu, Jitesh Sharma, Karn Sharma, Lendl Simmons, Tim Southee, Jagadeesha Suchith, Saurabh Tiwary, Vinay Kumar

It’s two wins on the bounce for Mumbai Indians, who are looking a very good side early on and even ended Sunrisers Hyderabad’s long unbeaten run last time out.

The form of captain Rohit Sharma will be a concern but, generally, the side is firing nicely with both bat and ball.

In the latter department they have been particularly impressive, with Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah and Mithcell McClenaghan all impressing and, importantly, taking wickets.

    Don’t expect too many changes.

PREDICTED MI XI: Patel, Buttler, Rana, Rohit (c), K Pandya, Pollard, H Pandya, Harbhajan, McClenaghan, Malinga, Bumrah
