    TEAM NEWS, SQUADS, PREDICTED XIs

DD SQUAD: Mohammed Shami, Karun Nair, Sam Billings, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jayant Yadav, Amit Mishra, Shreyas Iyer, Zaheer Khan, Sanju Samson, Chris Morris, Carlos Brathwaite, Rishabh Pant, CV Milind, Khaleel Ahmed, Pratyush Singh, Angelo Mathews, Corey Anderson, Kagiso Rabada, Pat Cummins, Ankit Bawne, Aditya Tare, Murugan Ashwin, Navdeep Saini, Shashank Singh, Ben Hilfenhaus.

The only area of concern for the Daredevils is the form of Karun Nair. The Indian batsman, following his triple century against England in December, has failed to find consistency in any form of the game.

The Delhi think-tank might be tempted to bring in Aditya Tare in place of Nair, but the former also failed to make an impact in the two IPL matches he has played in this season.

The four foreign players are unlikely to be changed as Sam Billings, Corey Anderson, Chris Morris, and Pat Cummins all impressed during their 51-run win over Kings XI Punjab on Saturday.

PREDICTED DD XI: Billings, Samson, Nair, Iyer, Pant, Anderson, Morris, Cummins, Mishra, Nadeem, Zaheer (c).

KKR SQUAD: Gautam Gambhir, Trent Boult, Darren Bravo, Piyush Chawla, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Colin de Grandhomme, Rishi Dhawan, Sayan Ghosh, Sheldon Jackson, Ishank Jaggi, Kuldeep Yadav, Chris Lynn, Sunil Narine, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Rovman Powell, Ankit Rajpoot, R Sanjay Yadav, Shakib Al Hasan, Robin Uthappa, Chris Woakes, Suryakumar Yadav, Umesh Yadav.

Despite the injury to Chris Lynn, the Kolkata-based franchise seem to have a well-settled team with Sunil Narine being used as a pinch-hitter at the top of the order.

Shakib Al Hasan, who was an integral part of the KKR side in previous seasons, is yet to feature this year. His inclusion at the expense of Colin de Grandhomme could be the only change to the Knight Riders side.

PREDICTED KKR XI: Gambhir (c), Narine, Uthappa (wk), Pandey, Y Pathan, Shakib, SK Yadav, Woakes, Kuldeep, Umesh, Boult.

    MATCH PREDICTION

This is a very difficult match to call. Delhi have the home advantage, but Kolkata have been in top form during this year’s IPL and that sees us leaning towards a win for Gambhir’s side.
