It wasn’t an easy task selecting the best player from the only match of the day between Delhi Daredevils and Sunrisers Hyderabad as a number of players made handy contributions to Delhi’s win.
There was Sunrisers’ Yuvraj Singh who scored an unbeaten 70 from 41 deliveries and then the two front-runners; Amit Mishra and Mohammed Shami.
Mishra bowled a very economical spell, going for just 23 runs from his four overs and the key wicket of Shikhar Dhawan, but Shami deserves edges it for the two wickets he took.
Shami might have been a bit expensive, going at nine runs per over, but he managed to take the crucial scalps of David Warner and Kane Williamson, both of whom who have been in superb form this season.
The wicket of Warner was especially important, as the Hyderabad captain had got off to a blazing start once again and it looked like he was on his way to another big score.
But it wasn’t to be thanks to a brilliant yorker from Shami which shattered Warner’s off-stump.

Wooooow. What a delivery by Moh Shami to get rid of Warner. He keeps bowling those gems. Remember his delivery to A. Cook? #DDvSRH #IPL
