Royal Challengers Bangalore [RCB] will host Kolkata Knight Riders [KKR] in Match 46 of the 2017 Indian Premier League [IPL] at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The Royal Challengers have had a season to forget, having won only two matches so far. The Knight Riders, on the other hand, are in the race for the top two spots but will have an eye on teams like Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils who might disrupt the current top four.

The last time the two sides met, RCB were bowled out for the lowest total in the history of the IPL [49] – something they are yet to recover from if their form is anything to go by.

Ahead of the match, we have the latest team news, start time and date, as well as how you can watch all the action from the UAE.

    TEAM NEWS, SQUADS, PREDICTED XIs

RCB SQUAD: Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Shane Watson, Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel, Mandeep Singh, Adam Milne, Sreenath Aravind, Kedar Jadhav, Stuart Binny, Samuel Badree, Travis Head, Sachin Baby, Iqbal Abdullah, Avesh Khan, Tabraiz Shamsi, Pawan Negi, Tymal Mills, Aniket Choudhary, Praveen Dubey, Billy Stanlake, Vishnu Vinod, Harpreet Singh.

Nothing Virat Kohli and co. have tried this season has gone right. The poor form of Chris Gayle and Shane Watson has hampered the team badly and at least one of them could be dropped for this encounter.

This could possibly be the last time that some of the Royal Challengers players represent the franchise at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and they will be looking to make a useful contribution.

PREDICTED RCB XI: Mandeep, Gayle, Kohli (c), De Villiers, Jadhav (wk), Binny, Negi, Milne, Badree, Aravind, Chahal.

KKR SQUAD: Gautam Gambhir, Sunil Narine, Kuldeep Yadav, Andre Russell, Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, Piyush Chawla, Robin Uthappa, Shakib Al Hasan, Chris Lynn, Umesh Yadav, Yusuf Pathan, Sheldon Jackson, Ankit Singh Rajpoot, Trent Boult, Chris Woakes, Rishi Dhawan, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Rovman Powell, R Sanjay Yadav, Ishank Jaggi, Darren Bravo, Sayan Ghosh, Colin de Grandhomme.

Robin Uthappa missed the game against Rising Pune Supergiant due to injury. If he is fit, he will walk back into the playing XI, most likely in place of Sheldon Jackson.

Chris Lynn has expressed his intention to make a return from his shoulder injury before the start of the playoffs, but this match could be a little too early for him.

PREDICTED KKR XI: Narine, Gambhir (c), Uthappa (wk), Pandey, Yusuf, Suryakumar, de Grandhomme, Woakes, Coulter-Nile, Kuldeep, Umesh.
