  • Sunrisers Hyderabad host Royal Challengers Bangalore in an IPL clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium on Monday in a must-win clash for Virat Kohli‘s men. The Kane Williamson-led Sunrisers are currently leading the IPL table with seven wins out of nine matches which has given them 14 points.

Royal Challengers, on the other hand, have lost six times in the same amount of games and need a miraculous turnaround if they are to stand a realistic chance of making the playoffs. For that, they will have to win each of their remaining five games.

Bangalore bowled well on Monday, dismissing Hyderabad for 146 in their 20 overs. Fast bowlers Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj picked up three wickets each in Hyderabad, giving Bangalore a great chance to win.

Royal Challengers Bangalore were 87-5 after 13 overs chasing 147. They required 60 runs from the remaining seven overs with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers back in the hit. But a superb final over from Bhuvneshwar Kumar, with 12 needed for victory, ended Bangalore’s hopes.
