Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Umesh Yadav has been excellent in IPL this season. Re-inventing his game and concentrating on bowling stump to stump, Yadav has picked up 14 wickets from 10 matches.

Even though his economy is over eight an over, his wicket-taking ability has been impressive. However, during Monday’s match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Umesh bowled what has to be the worst ball of the tournament.

Bowling to Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson in the 16th over, Umesh’s attempted slower delivery came out completely wrong as the ball went high and well away from the batsman and pitch. Williamson was surprised and didn’t know what to do. He thought about hitting the ball as the bowler had completed his action and released the ball.

However, the pacer bowled the delivery again after it was deemed a dead ball. Umesh got his man the same over as a knuckle ball slower delivery deceived Williamson who top edged the ball to square leg.
