  • Rohan Mustafa scored 63 runs.

At the Al Dhaid Cricket Village, Rohan Mustafa laid the perfect foundation by scoring a quickfire 63 to put Alubond Tigers on top chasing a decent target of 172.

Ghulam Shabir scored a 12-ball 18 including a boundary and a six before Amjad Gul and Umair Ali made important contributions to guide Tigers to 175 in just 17.5 overs.

Gul faced just 13 deliveries in his cameo innings of 34 runs that included four sixes, while Umair took 24 balls to reach a superb 35.

Hassan Raza wiped off the remaining runs, scoring an unbeaten 15 to ensure Tigers were home with 13 balls to spare.

Earlier, winning the toss and opting to bat first, One Stop Tourism openers Fahad Ansari and Saif Janjua scored 28 each to give their team a good start. Ansari faced just 11 deliveries as he fired four boundaries and two sixes and Janjua hit five fours during his 24-ball stay.

But it was a fiery innings from Rohit Singh, who blasted 61 off only 38 balls peppered with six boundaries and three sixes, and Chirag Suri’s crucial 29-ball 37, that helped their side reach 171 for five.

Mustafa also did well with the ball, claiming two wickets.
