At Dubai’s Zabeel Park Cricket Ground, Yakoob Richi and Salman M smashed half centuries which helped their side pile up 191-5.

Their bowlers then skittled out the Hologram batting line-up for 131 in 16.2 overs. Global’s decision to bat first after winning the toss proved to be right even though they lost their opener Waqas Ahmed for a duck.

Richi and Salman then built up a cracking partnership with the pair reaching 83 in just the seventh over. Richi hit 56, while Salman contributed 54 before being dismissed.

Hologram batsman found no momentum in their chase as wickets fell at regular intervals. Only Shane Alam (43) and Hassan Saood (33) offered any resistance but their team were all out for 131 in the 16th over.

Meanwhile, Faisal Baig scored a superb half century while Gulrais Baig missed his by two runs but that was good enough to take Al Faraa Contracting Company to a 19-run win over NMC in the Interface Transworld Ramadan T20 tournament at Dubai Men’s College.

Their knocks saw Al Faraa post 154-6 while Mujahid Amin was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with figures of 2-18 as NMC could only manage 135-7 in their allotted overs. In Group C, Adnan Danish (4-20) and Hassan Ali (3-12) shared the spoils as Globelink West Star Shipping were all out for 82 to hand One Stop Tourism a six-wicket win.
