Saddle up with Al Forsan International Sports Resort’s equestrian winter term, offering a range of activities for riders of all skill levels.
The state-of-the-art sporting facility in the nation’s capital will hold its winter term for 16 weeks, running from now until January 2016. There will be a brief, three-week hiatus from Saturday, December 19 to Thursday, January 7 to align with the school break.
Open to riding students aged five and above, the equestrian school has everything you need to improve your skills on a horse. Beginners have the opportunity to attend private or group lessons and be tutored by highly-experienced professional staff, who will instruct on the basic skills to be a capable rider.
The practical work can be combined with the Equestrian Theory lessons, which will teach students animal husbandry and care. Those who are more experienced riders can take their abilities to the next level. You can also learn the art of show jumping, with courses ranging from basic training to international standard. Special supervised pony rides are also available for the younger generation of riders.

As a British Horse Society certified training centre, applicants or parents of applicants have the assurance that they are getting the best education available from our institution,” said Ahmed Al Hammadi, director of the Al Forsan Equestrian Centre.

Riders will learn in an ideal environment, which features a fully floodlit polo field, air conditioned indoor training arena and stables, along with a huge outdoor showground. Al Forsan’s livery can accommodate up to 167 horses, with the facilities boasting sand and grass paddocks, a veterinary clinic, transportation, grazing land, specialised walking machines, aqua trainers, vita floor and solarium.
Ongoing registration for the winter term can be made anytime between Saturday to Thursday from 09:30 to 12:30 and 15:30 to 17:30 at the Al Forsan Equestrian Centre. The venue is open seven days a week and has complimentary resort access and parking available to all visitors.
