  • Fresh gear? Linford Christie (centre-left) shared this picture alongside (l-r) Bacary Sagna, Thierry Henry and Olivier Giroud back in October.

It seems that new Arsenal kit manufacturer, Puma, has somewhat dropped the ball by selling the Gunners' new shirt in an official store in Brazil ahead of its official release.

One Arsenal fan in Macau, China spotted the new home and away shirts and accompanying training tops before posting a series of photos to Twitter that showed the apparent new strip in all its glory.

As Arsenal are yet to comment on the pictures, it is fair to say there is a possibility that they are a fake.

With that said, the shirts are the same as ones former Olympian Linford Christie unknowingly leaked on Twitter back in October when posting a photo with both past and present Arsenal stars in the form of Bacary Sagna, Thierry Henry and Olivier Giroud.

Following a 20-year association with Nike, Arsenal signed the biggest deal in British football history with Puma, worth a whopping Dhs936m over the course of five years.

The Dhs187.2m a year deal is just shy of Real Madrid's Dhs193.4m per season equivalent with adidas which is the world's most expensive manufacturer deal in football.
