Luis Suarez is set to make his Barcelona debut following his four month ban against Real Madrid in the first Clasico of the season after La Liga released the fixture schedule for the upcoming season.
The Uruguay star, who moved to the Camp Nou from Liverpool for £75 million (AED 468m) this summer, will spend the opening stages of the season watching his new teammates from afar due to the infamous bite ban he collected at this summer's World Cup.
Suarez's suspension will conclude on October 25 – the day before Barcelona take on Real Madrid at the Bernabeu in the first Clasico encounter of the season.
The return fixture at the Camp Nou is scheduled for March 22.
However, there is a chance the fixture could be moved due to TV broadcasting reasons and if it were to move to an earlier date, Suarez would miss out.
