  • The pressure is building on the Gunners.

Arsenal have previously been known for their patchy away form, but in recent seasons, the Gunners have fared decently in games away from the Emirates Stadium (not counting fixtures against other top-six clubs).

However, Saturday’s 3-1 loss to West Brom means Arsenal are now in a sequence of three straight away losses in the Premier League, a run that had not been seen at the club since they lost to Manchester United, Blackburn, and Tottenham in successive away games in the 2011/12 season.

The Gunners have five more away games left in the league this season, including trips to Tottenham and Southampton, and those games could define the remainder of what is turning out to be a disastrous season.

Arsenal are now in serious danger of missing out on a top four spot for the first time under Arsene Wenger, with the Hawthorns defeat leaving them five points behind fourth ahead of Sunday’s clash between Liverpool and Manchester City.

Will this spell prove the end for Wenger at Arsenal?
