    IVAN PERISIC

Manchester United have reopened talks with Inter Milan over signing their winger Ivan Perisic.

According to respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Red Devils are prepared to offer £35million for the Croatia international having had a £26million bid already rejected.

However, the Serie A giants are resolute in their demands to fetch a fee closer to the £45million mark.

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Back in discussions but is the transfer truly back on if United aren’t willing to meet Inter’s valuation?

They were initially under some pressure to raise funds after their Financial Fair Play infringement but with the debt paid of Inter are under no such obligation now.

Still, they’re at the negotiation table and if Jose Mourinho’s want his man then invariably United have the financial clout to get the deal done.

    SERGIO RICO

Liverpool are plotting a £10million move for Sevilla’s 23-year-old stopper Sergio Rico.

A report from ABC de Sevilla says the Reds are looking to improve what has been a problem area for the club over the past couple of seasons.

The Spain international has a £26million release clause the La Liga club are hoping to attract a fee in that region.

    RATING: 4/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Rico is a good keeper with age on his side but he’s no better than what Liverpool already have in the form of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.

There are still question marks over his ability and a transition from Spain to England is known to be a tough one.

At this time it’s a transfer which doesn’t make all that much sense although it’s entirely plausible Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a new No1.

    ALEX SANDRO

Chelsea are willing to pay a club-record £60million fee to sign Juventus left-back Alex Sandro.

The Telegraph say fresh talks took place yesterday with a major step in the negotiations meaning the 26-year-old will now have to decide where his future lies.

Juve are prepared to offer him a new deal but Chelsea will offer a better contract and have indicated they will meet his valuation.

PSG are also interested but it appears this is a straight shootout for Sandro; stay at Juve or move to Chelsea.

There is a sense Sandro will indeed join the Premier League champions with Antonio Conte hoping to tie up a deal and then switch his attentions to re-signing Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
