Despite being among the very best players on the planet, they’ve also all had the fortune of playing alongside Angel Di Maria.
The Argentine satirically posted on his Instagram page how “lucky these boys were” to have featured in the same team as the winger.
The 29-year-old has already struck up a partnership with Neymar in his goalscoring debut against Guingamp last weekend after the Brazilian completed a world-record €222million move from Barcelona.
He has, of course, played alongside Messi at international level, and while his spell at Manchester United wasn’t the complete success anticipated he did have the opportunity to star in a side fronted by the club’s record goalscorer Rooney.
Di Maria moved to Old Trafford from the Bernabeu where his telepathic understanding with Ronaldo helped the Portuguese plunder a plethora of goals as was the case for Ibrahimovic when he starred for PSG.
Indeed, all were lucky to have had Di Maria laying on assists for them.
