Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal are set to go head-to-head in the battle to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Julian Draxler, according to the Mirror.
Neymar’s €222million arrival from Barcelona has meant the Ligue 1 giants have put Draxler on the market and despite only joining the Parisians in January in a £40million deal from Wolfsburg, he will be available for around £32million.
The report says the 23-year-old Germany international is wanted by Arsene Wenger who has tracked his progress since he broke through into Schalke’s first team at 17 while Jose Mourinho is in the market to sign a natural wideman with United set miss out on Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
Liverpool, meanwhile, were beaten to his signature by PSG in January and could reignite their interest with Draxler’s versatility suiting a spot in Jurgen Klopp’s front four.
