The Bundesliga enters its hiatus at the end of December and Dortmund will use the facilities at NAS Sports Complex from January 7-16 as they continue to push Bayern Munich at the top of the league.

Dortmund are currently second in the Bundesliga, eight points behind leaders Munich with 13 games played.

Some of the star names that will be showcasing their talents at the training camp in Dubai include Marco Reus, Mats Hummels, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Shinji Kagawa and more

On the announcement earlier today, BVB sporting director Michael Zorc said: “We spent some time in Spain training during the January break over the past few years, but this sets a new trigger point for the team.”

During their stay in Dubai, the team will also take part in a friendly match, but no details have been confirmed yet.

When Dortmund return from the UAE they will resume their Bundesliga campaign with an away game against fifth place Borussia Monchengladbach.
