  • Ouedraogo in action.

Ouedraogo, 27, has been in Dubai for the last week since an offer was accepted by the side which finished sixth in the 2015/16 Austrian Football Bundesliga.

He has inked a three-year contract and will be tasked with carrying the goalscoring burden for Waleed Obaid’s charges.

The Burkina Faso international scored nine goals in 31 domestic appearances last term. He is the Tornado’s fourth-and-final non-Emirati buy, joining up alongside Romania pair Adrian Ropotan and Mihai Radut plus Jordan winger Yaseen Al Bakhit.

Hatta have worked swiftly to conclude the majority of their summer transfer work early, ahead of a debut Arabian Gulf League campaign in the professional era.

In the domestic market, forward Mohammed Malallah is the headline acquisition after he was the fourth-highest-scoring Emirati during the 2015/16 top flight with six goals in 23 matches for lowly Emirates Club.

Experience has been added to the squad by versatile attacker Essa Obaid. Defender Mahmoud Hassan has also joined from Emirates, with full-back Bader Abdulrahman being bought from Sharjah and forward Maher Jassim purchased from relegated Al Shaab.
