  • Masterful Mirko: Vucinic provided the goals in Al Jazira's victory over Emirates Club.

A perfect hat-trick by Mirko Vucinic led Al Jazira to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Emirates Club at the Mohammed bin Zayed on Thursday night.

After a goalless first-half, Jazira burst into life just after the hour mark, and managed the breakthrough from the penalty spot when Emirates defender Abdullah Ali handled inside the area. Vucinic stepped up to calmly slot the spot-kick home into the bottom right corner.

The former Juventus forward scored his second of the match six minutes later when he peeled off his marker to find Abdullah Moussa's cross with a first-time left footed finish.

The Montenegrin completed his perfect treble in the 75th minute with a cross-goal header to ensure a comfortable night for Al Jazira.

The victory returned the Abu Dhabi giants to winning ways after they were held to a shock 2-2 draw by Fujairah in their last outing.

In the evening's earlier a game, Fujairah and Al Dhafra played out a dour goalless draw at the Fujairah Stadium.
