  • Al Nasr are at this stage of the tournament for the first time.

For 2003 winners Al Ain a home-leg against Lokomotiv awaits on August 23 at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium before they head to Uzbekistan for the return leg on September 13.

Al Ain’s Arabian Gulf League rivals Al Nasr have been rewarded with reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time with a trip to Gulf rivals El Jaish on on August 24.

They will then welcome their Qatari neightbours back to the Al Maktoum stadium on September 14.

If both sides from the UAE progress then they will set-up a mouth-watering all-UAE semi-final with the winner going on to face one of their rivals from the East in November’s two-legged final.

In the East side of the draw, China’s Shanghai SIPG face Korea’s Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the third quarter-final, the two countries also represented in the final fixture of the round.

In that fourth quarter,  FC Seoul will take on Chinese Super League outfit Shandong Luneng FC.
