  • Argentine giants Boca Juniors have joined Everton and Tottenham in the race to sign Barcelona centre-back Yerry Mina on a season-long loan deal, according to reports in Italy.

The Colombian international, who was part of his country’s World Cup squad in Russia, has struggled to nail down a first-team place at Blaugrana following his switch from Palmeiras in January 2018.

Mina is unlikely to dislodge preferred Barca defensive pairing Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique next term and has also fallen behind new signing Clement Lenglet in the pecking order.

The Toffees and Spurs are keen on securing Mina’s services on a temporary basis, with Boca also having a similar idea to the Premier League duo.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Barca want a €5million loan fee for Mina while a potential agreement could include a purchase-option in the region of €10million.
