  • Leicester dominate this week's Valora Fans' ratings.

    1. JAMIE VARDY (LEICESTER) – 7.62

The England frontman ended his 10 hour, 17-minute goal drought in the Premier League with a cool finish for his 16th goal of the season in the Foxes’ 3-0 success over Stoke City.

Claudio Ranieri’s men lead by three points at the top of the table and the 29-year-old’s return to form will delight the Italian.

Vardy played a pivotal role in Danny Drinkwater’s opening, firing at goal before the midfielder tucked home, and caused Stoke’s defence problems all afternoon with his rapid pace, energy and enthusiasm.

    2) ASHLEY WILLIAMS (SWANSEA) – 7.60

The captain was a towering presence at the back as the Swans kick-started Francesco Guidolin’s reign as head coach with an impressive 2-1 victory away at Everton.

It has been a turbulent campaign for the Welsh side but the club have now seemed to turn the corner after an energetic and firm display in both defence and attack, which left the Goodison Park crowd frustrated.

Williams, 31, who also captains Wales, led by example and his form will be crucial for Swansea to shrug off the threat of relegation.

    3) VIRGIL VAN DIJK (SOUTHAMPTON) – 7.50

Yet another centre-back features in this week’s Valora Fans’ EPL Top 5 and Dutchman Van Dijk thoroughly deserves recognition.

The Holland centre-back, 24, was an eye-catching performer with the ball and solid without it, much like his manager Ronald Koeman in his heyday, as the Saints grinded out a 1-0 win at Manchester United – their second victory at Old Trafford in as many seasons.

The former Celtic man helped to restrict Louis van Gaal’s lacklustre side to just one shot on target throughout in a win which sees the South Coast side move up to eighth position in the table.

    4) DANNY DRINKWATER (LEICESTER) – 7.43

Perhaps one of the unsung heroes in the Leicester line-up, the 25-year-old midfielder is no doubt playing a key role in the Foxes’ Premier League title push.

Drinkwater opened the scoring (his first goal in the top flight) in the important victory over Mark Hughes’ travellers before laying the ball on for Vardy to end his barren streak in front of goal.

The former Manchester United youth star is realising his potential and his combination play with Leicester’s attacking players will be important in the title run-in.

    5) RIYAD MAHREZ (LEICESTER) – 7.38

The Algerian superstar is a Valora regular and is the third Leicester star to complete this week’s top five.

Mahrez, 24, assisted Leonardo Ulloa with a sublime piece of skill for his side’s third goal in the win over Stoke and the wing magician is undoubtedly the club’s key man if they are to sustain their Premier League title push.
