  • Battle of London: Mourinho (l) takes his Chelsea troops to Wenger's Arsenal.

Last week proved to be a low-scoring one for our Predict360 competitors, but a valuable point for Ted, whose pessimism served him well, sees Arsenal stretch their lead at the top to six points.

You see, our Gunners fan – for the first time we hasten to add – decided to think with his brain, not his heart last week and back an Arsenal defeat at Man City. And how right he proved to be!

Elsewhere, there were points for Shivam as Chelsea (just about) beat Crystal Palace, Mark for Everton's win over Fulham, Obaydah following Liverpool's stunning win at Spurs, and of course Darren for backing City to defeat Arsenal.

This week, the big showdown – both from a Premier League and Predict360 perspective – takes place at the Emirates Stadium as duel leaders Arsenal host London rivals Chelsea.

As always, guys, best of luck!

    TED TOTSIDIS – @TedTots (Arsenal)

What happened last time? The less said about our performance against Man City last week the better really. I expected Arsenal to be out performed and to lose and it's why I predicted against us for the first time ever.

We were tired, lethargic and just not up for it yet even still managed to score 3 goals at the Etihad. Not sure many teams have been able to do that in recent years and still lose. I simply put it down to an off day at the office where our calamitous passing and defending lost us the match.

This week: We have to wait till Christmas Eve to see if Santa brings us 3 league points or fills our net with coal when we face Chelski at the Emirates. They're one team I really don't know what to make of this season.

They've struggled and played really poorly a lot and their midweek defeat to Sunderland in the Capital One Cup quarter finals is case in point. Then in other matches things just click for them and they look super menacing.

The only thing I am really banking on is that their defence has been leakier than a rusty bucket and that they're old, fat and slow. It's still going to be a challenge to beat them though, but I think the time is ripe and tis the season to heap misery on Mourinho and his mob. I predict: Arsenal 3 – 1 Chelsea with the winning goals being scored late in the second half.

    SHIVAM MANGHNANI – @ShivamLM (Chelsea)

What happened last time? Two poor performances from Chelsea against Crystal Palace and Sunderland, thankfully though we won the most important one. It is rather obvious that there are two key positions missing – a defensive midfielder and a striker. If rumours are to be believed Mourinho has begun trying to solve one of those issues with Fredy Guarin.

This week: If Chelsea play anything like we did against Palace or Sunderland at the Emirates then the Gunners will rip us to shreds. At the moment it looks like only there is one clear winner and that is Arsenal. Hopefully Chelsea can rise to the big occasions and play a lot better. However right now I cannot see anything but an Arsenal win. Arsenal 3-1 Chelsea

    MARK SCHUMANN – @MarkSchuey (Everton)

What happened last time? Another good win for Everton despite a below par performance. The 4-1 score line was a bit deceptive as Fulham gave it a good go in the second half.

This week: Away to Swansea. Tricky one to call. Everton should win but I can see Swansea battling hard for a draw. However I'll go for a narrow away win. Swansea 1-2 Everton

DARREN BALL – @AbuDhabiDaz (Man City)

What happened last time out? Last weekend City took on the league leaders and scored six goals. The attacking football that City are displaying is just mind boggling. They look extremely dangerous on every attack.

This week: City travel to Fulham in what could be an interesting game. City will be without Aguero and Zabaleta who are probably our two most lethal attackers right now. However we do have Jovetic back and Dzeko did bag a brace on Tuesday albeit against Leicester.

Fulham have a new manager in charge which always brings out a new performance in players. With all that and City's away days still under scrutiny I don't think Fulham will have enough to stop City. Fulham 0-2 Man City

MOHAMMED ANABTAWI – @MoeAnabtawi (Man Utd)

What happened last time? It has been very frustrating for us United fans. It is so easy to keep blaming Moyes, but the players need to show heart and determination too. This is a transitional period and you accept the transition we are going through.

Our injury list is growing day after day that we might actually start seeing our Under 21's feature sooner than later. Winning twice in a row still can't mask the lack of creativity we have in midfield.

In order for us to make it back into the top 4 our boys must be focused and show urgency until January and hope for some fresh blood and not panic buys (Fellaini). The sooner Moyes is a Manchester United manager the better for us.

This week: West Ham have been inconsistent, so have we. Playing at home used to be a guaranteed result for us. Not this year. However, I am confident that after a consecutive run of wins we can muster out a result from Saturdays fixture's. Man United 2 – 1 West Ham

NEIL MITCHELL – @geordiedentist (Newcastle United)

What happened last time? In some ways after the fantastic result at Old Trafford to not pick up a win at home afterwards feels a little disappointing. However putting it all into context of the whole season if you'd offered me 4 points out of those twp fixtures I would have taken that gladly so I can't be too unhappy really.

Yet again though we were in some ways the architects of our own downfall. Taking aside that the equaliser was offside, we yet again went a goal up and failed to capitalise on the position. This is frustrating in the extreme.

We've taken the lead in 11 of our 16 league games yet only returned with maximum points in 8 of them. On the plus side if we do this often enough we are sure to take all of the spoils more often.

This week: A couple of weeks ago this would have been a much easier fixture. Palace were in disarray, rooted at the bottom of the table. Such is the way in the Premier League, however, things cam change rapidly.

Tony Pulis's appointment has given them a boost. That said he reminds of a smug, tracksuit and cap wearing games teacher I used to have at school so if ever there was a reason to want to pummel them, that'll do for me. I've got good memories of my last trip to Palace, good times with good friends. I hope this time is as good for my travelling mates. However this is the kind of fixture we usually mess up. For once I'm optimistically hoping we don't! Crystal Palace 0 – 2 Newcastle United

    SIMON THURSTON – @SimonPThurston (Tottenham)

A busy Christmas schedule has prevented Simon from providing a full preview and prediction. But our Spurs fan managed to find some time amidst the seasonal chaos to send over an "optimistic" scoreline. Good commitment Simon! Southampton 1-2 Tottenham
