  • Liverpool FC legend Robbie Fowler is heading to the United Arab Emirates where he will be leading a penalty shootout competition taking place at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon on 24 January.

The former England international is the sixth highest scorer in Premier League history and still holds the record for the fastest hat-trick when he blazed three goals past Arsenal in just 4 minutes 23 seconds.

Fowler will be at the LFC Zone from 9.30am where children under 12 years of age will have the chance to take three penalties and compete for a once in a life-time prize.

The two top-scorers will receive the ultimate Liverpool experience, with one winner being sent to become a mascot at Anfield on 8 March when the Reds take on Sunderland.

The second winner will receive an equally special prize as they will travel to Merseyside for the Liverpool FC vs Tottenham game on 29 March.

The prize also includes two return economy class air-tickets to Manchester for two – one adult, one child; from Dubai International Airport and two nights’ accommodation.

Sport360° would have loved to participate and show off our penalty skills but sadly we are too old. Fortunately we can offer our lovely readers the chance to participate and win a prize that money cannot buy.

Over the coming days we will be running a competition through our Facebook page, with a series of questions about Fowler and Liverpool FC.

If you are one of the lucky few to answer all the questions correctly then you will be in with a chance of claiming a place for your son or daughter to win the amazing trip to Anfield.

We will be selecting ten winners so if you have a child between 6-12, who absolutely loves Liverpool FC, then make sure to check out our Facebook page over the coming days for the questions.
