Manchester United’s comfortable 4-0 FA Cup third round win over Reading will be remembered, mostly, for Wayne Rooney equalling Bobby Charlton’s all-time goalscoring record for the hosts.
But it will also live long in the memory of Reading ‘keeper Ali Al Habsi for all the wrong reasons.
At 3-0 down, Reading were already out of the tie but further woe was added to both scoreline and the fans’ general demeanour as the Oman stopper handed Marcus Rashord his double and his side’s fourth.
Under pressure from the United youngster, Al Habsi committed an awful error as his air kick let in Rashford to tap home and seal the convincing victory.
As you can see below, it was far from being Al Habsi’s finest hour at the club…
