Scoring with a header requires a lot of accuracy, precision, power and a strong leap in the air.
In the English Premier League though, one of the most difficult leagues, in terms of physical toughness, it requires even more.
While some players have natural heading prowess, they still tend to miss out on a couple of scoring chances. But, this season, a select group of players have risen to the occasion and headed in some wonderful goals for their team.
Topping this list by WhoScored.com is West Ham’s Michail Antonio, with six headed goals to his name. West Bromwich Albion’s striker Salomon Rondon is next and has been “fantastic” this term, going by the words of his boss Tony Pulis.
Third on the list is Frenchman Olivier Giroud, Arsenal’s go-to man. He has scored four headers so far and you can bet there will more to come from the 30-year-old.

Leicester City’s Islam Slimani and Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku have also netted four each too. All in all – whether from crosses, long balls or corners, these players have jumped highest to nod home.
